Our Church Family's Rhythms During Covid-19
Like so many of you, we have been seeking to navigate the waters of our current pandemic with wisdom, care for one another, and love towards our neighbors. We appreciate all our health care workers and first responders in our commnity who have selflessly served others.
Being limited in how we gather together, whether on Sundays, or any other day, has been difficult. We were created for community and God calls us to gather together as a church family to worship Him. We are grateful to be gathering in a country that values religious freedom. We must balance those concerns, as to having religious freedoms imposed on, with genuine attempts to promote public safety.
We have sought to adhere to the PA government health recommendations since they were first communicated. We have used full on-line services when we were in the Red Phase and have sought to adhere to the limits of how many people are recommmeded in the building during the Yellow and Green Phases. We logistcially have the building organized to help everyone adhere to the 6' distancing measures, as well as ask for masks or facial coverings to be used. For those not able or not yet wanting to be inside the building we livestream our services.
While this has not been an easy season for anyone, we believe our God has placed us within our community to show others who He is like, to show others what life within His kingdom is like. We love our city because God loves the people of our city.
